JoomSEO 1.5 is an ALPHA release so please treat it as such. There are known issues that I still need to address but will attend to when I get more time.

As this is an ALPHA release, please do not use this on a production site.

JoomSEO is a Joomla bot / plugin that gives you

  • Dynamic Meta Keywords, Descriptions and Titles.
  • Adds Heading tags (h1, h2, etc.) to headings to improve SEO and Accessability. *
  • Is highly configurable and adjustable.

*This is disabled by default as it could break some templates

JoomSEO saves the hassle of manually adjusting these settings, keeping all words relevant for the search engines.

JoomSEO is highly configurable allowing you to adjust settings including,

  • Show or hide site name, keywords, content heading, first paragraph in the title and more.
  • Number of keywords displayed in the title.
  • Length of the description in the title.
  • Complete dynamic adjustable title
  • Sticky words to give keywords more weight.
  • Bad words and characters to exclude words from the keywords.
  • Enable or disable the front page, including front page overrides.
  • Heading tag selection
  • and more.

Check out the generated keywords and descriptions. Both also have <hX></hX> tags enabled to improve SEO and Accessability.

Installation

To install, log into the administration section.
choose the menu 'Installers'
click on 'Mambots'
browse and upload the botJoomSEO_X.X. We should get a successful message.

Now we need to publish the mambot.

choose the menu 'Mambots'
click on 'Site Mambots'
click on 'JoomSEO'
change Published to Yes.
personalise other options
then save
